Distance Education
#

As an integral part of our commitment to changing the world for Christ, Grace College of Divinity is continually looking for ways to make more classes available to more people in more places. In addition to offering evening courses, and courses at other sites, we offer three distance education options. First, by using state of the art internet technology we are able to simulcast select courses via streaming video to selected sites. Last year's Kingdom of God course (THE 301) was broadcast live to seven different locations in three different states. Students as far away as Alabama were able to ask their questions via instant messaging, and have them answered "live" by their professor in North Carolina.

For those who needed a more flexible alternative, 2004 saw the launch of several internet courses, where students as far away as Germany were able to interact with their professors via online technology.

Additionally, Grace College of Divinity has several courses available on DVD, where an on-site proctor and faculty advisor facilitate the course. These courses are excellent for students in remote places, where internet access may be unavailable or sporadic. The spring of 2005 saw DVD courses being taken into Venezuela and even deployed with a soldier to Iraq!

Currently, we offer the following classes via DVD: Systematic Theology I and II (THE201 and 202), Kingdom of God (THE301), Book of Romans (BIB303), Church Life (CLG211), Church History I (HST101), and Greek I (GRK301).

Coming soon: Church Growth (CLG480), Church History II (HST201), Destiny and Calling (CLG101), and World Religions (PHL102).
